• Value
  Value package is the simplest one. But it must be considered as basis, not basic.

  This package includes (among many others) next functions:

  1. PPP client protocol
     This is basic functionality that allows PPP connections.
  2. PPP server procotol (single user!)
     This will help you to secure you leased line or provide dial in functionality for single person. Simply set up user name, password and IP addresses into configuration file and your dial in server is ready.

     PAP, CHAP and MS CHAP support included

  3. Compression Control Protocol
     Do you need faster Internet access? Or may be you need to increase speed of long range connection between your offices without any hardware upgrade? This is your option. CCP (stands for Compression Control Protocol) will compress you data before sending over wire.
  4. PPP over Ethernet
     You've got DSL service provider that need PPPoE software? Our PPPoE solution will work with virtually any LAN card (connected to your DSL modem) that has OS/2 drivers.

  5. Packet Filter
     Worrying about security? We provide firewall even in the Value version of SafeFire PPP.

  6. Dial On Demand
     Our clever software will Dial Out automatically when you will try to connect with any client program (like Netscape) either on computer SafeFire PPP is installed or any other that wishes to get Internet access.

     Of course, this feature is controllable with special Packet Filter instance, so that confusing packets won't make you problems.




• SOHO
  This package was especially designed for computer networks that need Internet access. Along will all the features of the Value package, SOHO package provides you with Network Address Translation feature. This will help your network to access Internet using single provider connection.

  No special client software for network workstation needed! Simply set SafeFire PPP station as default router.
  
  

• ISP
  Need to create powerful dialin server? This option is for you. Having all Value package features, this version provide you will very flexible and powerful DialIn mode. Single or multiple lines. Any statistics.

  You are encouraged to look at the Server Pack that will show you the power of Safefire PPP in multiline Dialin mode and ISP-level features.
  
  

• Gold
  Wish to have all? This package will provide you will all SOHO and ISP features at reasonable price.
• Addon
  SafeFire PPP/Links Addon adds such new features as Traffic Shaper or Fast network drivers. It can be upgraded over any (Value/SOHO/ISP/Gold) version of SafeFire PPP/Links.
